There are shuttle buses from the airport to the Boulder hotels. You might (or might not) have to wait for the next shuttle but the ride should be more economical than the taking a taxi.
I look forward to meeting you at Basecamp!

Glad to hear you're coming broomstick; you shouldn't that hard to recognize....
I too may be the only countryman to attend from Australia. Not sure. Any other Aussies going?
-
LOL @ Broom.
Andrew, I bet there will be at least 3 Ozzies (I met one last time see pictures with him holding Sydney newspaper and I believe we will meet again), I'm the only South African from Texas however.
-
That's another Andrew from down here...not sure if he is coming this time; I did see him post here somewhere saying he missed the whole registration thing... Hope he can come! What is it with 'Boks in the States', I know one somewhere in New Hampshire....

David, got any good places to hang out at night?
There are number of places on Pearl Street or Walnut in downtown area (10th-15th street). Another area not far away is University Hill by CU campus. CU classes start on 8/23 so I expect they will all around by the hill. I'm not as familiar with night places as breakfast places since I my idea of hanging out at night is laying on the couch once I get the kids to sleep.
But if I had to name a few
The Sink has a lot of character by campus. (http://www.thesink.com/)
Conor Oneill's is nice place downtown (http://www.conoroneills.com/boulder/)
Rio (http://www.riograndemexican.com/)
But lots of other places around as well, these are just a few that popped into my head. Some coffee shops are restaurants are also open pretty late. -
I'd say Liam's going to go nuts when he find Conor O'Neills...... .....

have to celebrate the irish roots, would be a crime not to!

The cost will be rather prohibitve coming from Europe for sure.
Is anyone from across Oceans for sure planning on coming out? Or would come out if they got in?
I am flying from France, and look for a cheap place to stay, beacause, it's a lot of money all together...
I applied in 2008 and didn't get the chance, I am very happy to travel this time.
I tried to rent some place with the craig's list but miss a US phone # to register...
any help appreciated.
MERCI

Ditto Ross, Will be nice to meet THE Whaat among others!!!!

If you are a UK or Irish citizen, you do not have to pay. My wife was in South Carolina in May and she had to fill in an online visa checking form and they give you a green light almost immediately. You should not have to pay anything Liam. Who told you that you had to pay? Are they legitimate?
