One of my co-workers is starting her own 1 person Arch firm and does not have a lot of cash to buy a drafting program. She has used DataCad, AutoCad and for the last few years Revit. She asked me if I knew of any cheap or free drafting programs and I told her I would ask you guys. I have heard of a few but won't mention as I want to get a fresh set of perspectives for her.

      Thanks all.

DoublecCAD XT is free. I never tested though.

I saw a "Daily Catchup" logo on their website so I am guessing you are already aware! ๐Ÿ˜„

I've used the DoubleCAD free version. Its good but a little buggy - I've had it crash a few times but it does give you an option to save your work before it closes completely. You can't beat the price though! ๐Ÿ˜„

I'll second DoubleCAD. I'm a complete CAD noob and was able to use some of it.
