Hi,
A small note for the use of Convert arcs......to cylinders. If multiple tubes can collide at one point there may be geometric inaccuracies (see images below). This is avoided if the value for the precision is always a multiple of four.
This also applies to the Rubies: Tube along path and Pipe along Path andExtrude Edges by Face. Although I think Extrude Edges by Face is the most versatile when it comes to frameworks because you can use any profile.
And then the opening can be closed geometrically exact by Extrude edges by Rails.
