Who do i keep getting logged out?

I login to the forum and within 20 minutes or so I am logged back out again.
Is there a way to change the time you are logged in for? it seems i enter my username and password like 10 times a day!!

The same happens to me though there isn't a consistent time pattern, sometimes it's like twenty minutes and other times it could be an hour. It's been like this for as long as I can remember, just got used to logging in again.

Have you tried the flag 'log me automatically' ? ...and then, wich browser are you using?

Before the upgrade, we had a little plugin/javascript that "updated" (refreshed) your browser in every 5 minutes or what and therefore it kept you logged in. Now this hasn't been installed on the new upgrade yet (IF it is compatible at all) so after a while of idleness you get logged off.
Indeed "Log me in automatically" can help but is only recommended on your own computer of course (as well as remembering passwords) but you certainly know that.

instead of "return to index page" can you make it "return to previous page"?
im using safari on mac if that makes any difference.
the twilight forum doesn't log me out as often and that is also phpBB hmmmmm

Imagine I screw up something (which would be very likely even if I knew whereto screw it up) and we are left here with no SCF!
