Hey guys, just bought the new M555b Logitech mouse
http://www.logitech.com/en-us/mice_pointers/mice/devices/5747 and the Damn middle button option in only that ridiculous button behind the scroll wheel!!!!

It's a pain in the '&*%$#@' to not have the function still available with the scroll wheel. Makes 'middle button orbiting in SU quite cumbersome.

So if don't wat to waste 90 bucks AU on a bloddy mouse, stick with a cheaper one.....
Shoudl be called 'useless small button hiding behind the scroll wheel' button.

Andrew, I'm not quite sure what your beef was, but I have a similar Logitech mouse with the middle button behind the scroll wheel and it works a back button in my web browser...now that I'm used to it, it's indispensable!! My scroll wheel works fine in SU, but I have often wished I could program the middle button to work as 'Undo' in SU. Cheers

PS. maybe your problem is a mouse setting in the control panel or something?

Hey guys.
Marcus, I've had a look through the mouse settings and found that the scroll wheel will only work as a scroll wheel even though it seems to have a 'click' function when pressed. I have always used a scroll wheel for zooming, etc in SU but it's handy also for pressing and holding the scroll / click function [on my old mouse] to actival orbit on the fly.
I just find that I will have to teach myself a new way of operating this native SU function by adding another button to the mix....

I have the same kind of mouse. At first I was very shocked about the scrool wheel and slightly angry that I will not be able to pan around as I used to in the good old days but now it seems OK. It's easyer to click and hold it now as I don't have to put so much pressure in comparison with my old mouse. This one is very bad for gaming but overall I'm very pleased with it.

Boosted up my productivity as I haven't played any games since semptember because of it
