Bearcat race-version W.I.P.
-
This is my first aircaft I'm modelling and I think I have to rework the
vertical tail (don't know what's name in english), cause it has much to many polys, is too thick at he end and is not "clean" in all areas.Tell me what you think about it!

Looks spectacular so far. Can't wait to see the finished version.
are you basing it on RareBear?

Thanks, and yes - it's based on the rare bear, but I don't want to be to exact...
I'm still trying to remodel the rear...Here's a little update:
-
You should change your nickname
-
From the pictures that you have posted, the rear of the fuselage looks great.
are you planning on modeling a portion or all of the engine as well? -
The body looks super slick on that, really clean. I'd be very interested to see your technique. Could you describe or post some images?
Great work

Thanks for your posts!
I don't know yet if I will model the engine too, we will see...
For the main body I made archs for the profiles and then used extrude edges by rails! One of my favorite extrudion tools! I will try to get some pictures online this weekend, if you are still interested.
-
Another little update!
Tomorrow I will try tu put some rivets on the surface!

I'm thinking about a white racing stripe on the side of the main body...Greetz, Fritz

-
This is rendered with vray! I will try HDR lightning in the final render when model is finished!
