EDIT: didn't notice this contest was finished, but the demos of O3D are well worth looking at

not really my cup of tea, and UK entries are probably not allowed, but the Plugin lets you download a lot of really interesting Google 3D demos,

rendering/lighting, physics, etc... and they work on the Mac... very cool indeed
