Tom, I can see that you are quite confident with your new toy already and creating great renders. These combined with your "traditional" watercolour technique are definitely a uniquely new style of yours. I liked the "old ones", too and I like these new ones as well.

I'm not sure why I'm not thrilled by your first photo-realistic image but your watercolor technique is astounding !
Can you tell me more on your post-processes ? I'm not sure I understand Gaieus when he's mentioning traditional watercolor ?Er... I think I also miss your DWC's reference ?
When I googled for it I found a link to a spanking club (Disciplinary Wives Club...)... I'm almost sure that's not what you meant !
Anyway, any advice/clue/hint at how you achieved such a great result will be highly appreciated ! -

2nd is my favorite too, but there are some really nice aspects in all 3. Not sure I am buying the amount of water on the road in the front - maybe just a coupld of large defined puddles. Are the trees all from the new collection you have been working on? If so - they really hold up well in both the PR an NPR styles. You know I really liked your DWC's before....... but IMHO the expansion of your toolset to include a render engine like Twilight has taken your work up another notch. I just love the depth and mood and texture that the lighting system in the pr render engine adds to the overlay styles that some utilize. Because of your DWC experience and skillset - yours are all that more effective in the final output.
Please keep them coming - I always love seeing your work!!

One more comp and now I gotta get back to finishing the tree set (yes, Dean, all my new trees...got to admit I'm surprised and pleased at how well they are holding up too).

I love DWC renders too, but maybe some tips, makes them more closer to natural watercolors:
maybe adding two layers over each other (in PS or another image editor app.) , a looser one over (with clip masks), and the tighter beneath, to draw attention to major parts. also maybe less reflection on water and plastic materials

i love the way you are developing your own style. The reflections on the street bring some really cool visual interest. It may be my monitor, but one thing i notice is that a lot of the images seem to be a bit oversatured. A small issue.
