Apartment Interior (Vfsu Mac)

Very very nice.
Some paintings on the walls. Minimal colours, grey tones. But what paintings, I leave this to you.
A well known trick from the masters in painting. When you feel that something is missing, then use a small completely black form somewhere. As Renoir used to say, black is the king of colours. -
Looks great, Roevens. Two things jump out at me - the empty white space outside the windows, and the blank white wall oposite the couch.
-
I think it is very good - minimal but maybe like when you are moving into your first apartment and don't have much "clutter"!
-
@ michaliszissiou,
Thanks for the tip, actually I took the idea of paintings on the wall kinda literally, you'll see in my final@ Daniel,
Yep, blank space will get a background for sure and I worked on the wall color(s)@ Dermotocoll,
Thank you, I appreciate the comment!Render coming in a few hours! I'll keep you guys updated ;D
-
Here you have the final image, rendered at 1920x1080 for 1h34m and some post pro

Wow, black and 'red' are the kings of colours, you say. If we had to vote, five stars from me.
-
Pretty good
-
definitely awesome....its good to see you come back after making changes from suggestions here. 5*
-
is the carpet in displacement?
It looks pretty awesome, care to share the shader?
-
-
wow I missed these! blown away! amazing work... and how have u lit the scene so naturally? beautiful
-
yeah the next vray for skp will be awsome, i was starting practicing with vray for max, but when i saw the video of feautures of the new vray for skp, i said "vray for max can wait" hehe,,,really awsome the A.O. new option, or the way of handling materials, etc....btw nice images bro!
-
Top class rendering. Vray really is awesome in the right hands.
The materials you have used are excellent, makes all the difference.Loving the mural/wallpaper on the back wall.
-
Looking great
ey how do you get the texture so nicely on the plant
-
My only critique on the final would the background image. With trees right outside the window, it would change the light coming into the room. Also the image shows the sun shining forward onto the trees, but in the scene the sun is coming from behind the trees. It's the major thing taking away from the PR look in my opinion. Otherwise, super fantastic job!
-
Congrats! I just saw you were featured on Asgvis
-
Thanks everybody! I'm stunned with all the reactions!
@ michaliszissiou, thanks you, those five stars are greatly appreciated! Maybe the move tool 'smily' could do as a star
Thanks a lot for the curtain mate! The previous one was my first attempt at making a curtain@ broomstick, yep the carpet is a displaced one, it's included with the attachments
@ olishea, Haha thank you, I'm glad you like it! I've used SU/Vray sun only, nothing more
@ teofas, whew, I'm honoured to receive a comment of you hehe
I've got to say, this new Vfsu is very stable, more than any previous releases!@ Dylan, very happy to hear this, it's one of the few scene's I've had a bunch of time so I was able to make all the materials myself.
My mom made the wallpaper, here's her website http://www.miriamdelapaz.com@ Dirkkkk, yay, I even get a very positive comment from the Vray competition winner, thanks, the plant comes
from solo's plant pack, it's worth every buck!@ EarthMover, thanks for this criticism! I'll see what I can rework on this in my future projects! Thank you
@ broomstick, Yeps, and a big thanks!
And pfehw, that's it folks!
