Guys, those look great.
Just an observation.... they both look a little bright for the amount of light filtering in, did y'all use additional lighting inside?

I always thought that you got the skills, but, you're just a little bit lazy.... right?
The hell I am!

Not me. I cranked up the ISO, and did some additional tweaking using Picturenaut and PS.
Here's another test I just did. This one was 5000 pixels wide and rendered in ... an hour! Some splotches, but still. One can't tell because of the Gaussian blur, but the AA was perfect.

did you just use an emitter to light the last image? very nice. ive said this before, reminds me of old architecture journals

Yeah, only one. I'd like to do a 'real' studio render of this model as well. Something well-lit and crisp. Might be a good learning experience.
Whenever I give Vray a spin I wonder why I don't use it more often.

these are really nice images stinkie...im wondering why you dont use it more often as well. The program really works well in your hands from the looks of these images.

Basically because it's much more complicated than either Indigo or Maxwell. And then there's the lack of layer blending ("multilight"). I'm thinking though, one could render an image per light source and then do the "layer blending" in Photoshop?
Might be time too to shell out on some decent tutorials on Vray.

Anyone have any photos of how the wall lights look in reality? I find the illumination they give pretty dim in my rendering.

It's the reel photo of the Ando's Church. The walls are quite reflective.
