Model this - a simple cube

I like this thread, practically we can model almost everything, beginning with a cube.
Pilou, c'est tres beau
But its not a cube. -

but now you completely confused me. Maybe someone should explain me first what the 3 means in 3d...
3D means = 3 times Double because a cube has 6 faces.

NPR Watercolor.

I tried again to build a cube, but now i'm really confused. I wonder what happened.

-
hmmm...
I may need to scale back my 'Model this' complexity, as clearly we are all still struggling with the basics.
-
My cube turned out inside-out, I'll post a picture when I get it right...
-
Another view - this time from the back.

After lot's of tutorials, I get this....

Gai.....PLEASE!!!!! share your blueprints!!

-
Man this is hard. .. .Still not gettin' it.

If any of you guys are really interested in 4D understanding and illustration, I strongly recommend you watch these set of videos.
The torrent downloaded (legal, offered at his site) videos are incredibly crisp and fluid.
Truly mind bending.

"Aha! Easy!" I thought...
"In 2D you draw two triangles to get a square - so surely two pyramids make a cube."

-
With ZBrush I tried to find the ideal shape, then import Obj into Sketchup. Treated with Subdivide and Smooth. But already looks almost perfect.

-
And so I have a cube in my head.

-
And so goes the complexity of the cube...

-

-
Well... If were going to talk cubist....

-
Cube Tutorial
-Do such a contour in Sketchup and print it out.
-Cut out the outline and fold a cube.
-Take a picture of the cube.
-Import the photo into Sketchup.

-
I propose that we set up a new forum for Cubists. We need the cube necessarily to develop. It is still a long way to the perfect cube. I call it the squaring of the cube. Might be worthy of the Nobel Prize.
-
I dunno, that name is too square, you need to think outside the box.
-
Took me awhile but I think I got it so it looks square from every side.
I thought SU was supposed to be easy to use?
