RUBY SCRIPTS
-
The ruby scripts I have downloaded are not appearing in my sketchup program. I have installed them in my plug ins folder but they do not seem to appear in my pull menus in sketchup. Does anyone have any suggestions in what I can do to rectify this problem?
Thanks,

What are the names of the ruby?

not all scripts have a menu in the 'plugins' menu, other places to look for them: the context menu (aka the right click menu), the draw menu, the tools menu and from time to time they'll have a toolbar which can be found under view->toolbars.

There are a number of them but the one I need the most right now is the Simplify contour

there are no additional plugins showing in my context menu, any other suggestions

I had never used so I download itand install
No problem it appears in the menu Plugins'list

It's a zipped file so maybe you have not unzip it? (uncompress) before put it inside Plugins' folder? -
You probably need to turn it on in Preferences>Extensions.

Moved the thread to the Developer's forum. We have reorganized so that the Plugin section is only a list of plugins you can download and use.
