After installing Windows 7 64 bit I thought I'd try to install good ol' Freehand...and it still works.
After beeing forced to switch to Illustrator I had almost forgotten how good Freehand was.
I think my productivity just went up 400%.
It's such a pity Adobe stopped development and buried it. (You can still find it if you search Adobes website though.)
I also found this website http://www.freefreehand.org if you like me would try to convince Adobe to continue development or make it open source for others to develop.

I have an old Freehand, version 5 I think. Its installer refused to work with XP so I just copied it over when switching computers, and it worked!

Its like my Win98 Trispective that has ray-tracing rendering (and animation) built in; ole links to excel and word; full animation (including moving objects and ray-tracing, etc.) export to everything; surfaces, solids, and vector drawing, etc., etc.... for $400.00 (at that time). To be fair, it has the same scattering menu problems that SU has:-)
