A face divider
-
I'm looking for a simple face divider. Which divides a rectangulair face in even columns and rows.
I can't find it. does it excist? -
or just select one edge, copy it to the other side (Move + Ctrl), then type in how many divisions you want (e.g. 5/ ).
then select all the line segments on the side next to it and do the same again... -
I'll have to add this one to my Duh! list.

thanks,

Try with SketchyFFD, also known as simply FFD or Free Form Deformator. It offers an option to slice your object. Just get rid of the dots after that.
Oh, and welcome.

when I use a calculator to do some maths, there is always the danger, that I completely lose the ability to do calculations myself... and only when I start typing in things like 1+2 I will realizing, that I became too dependent on technology.

and its often the same with rubies...
