Se to the Po,
Very Jack bird rock star.
You ever see, Blood: The last Vampire?
There are some moody school rooms in that master bit of work.

Really nice light on the wood desk tops. Very warm, very quiet. Very nice image.
-
Very nice render. You can almost smell and feel the wood work.
-
oh my this is deadly. i am also doing some rendering and mamama the soft shadow is really sweet.. good job tavi.
-
I agree with everyone, very warm image. Is there much post pro?, diffuse glow at windows maybe? I think it would be cool to have some writing on the chaulk board. I haven't downloaded 1.7.1 yet but I think I will today, patiently waiting for V2

Fantastic results Sid!
It proves again that Podium still is a powerful render solution. -
Thats ace, you've managed to get the desks just right

Souvenirs, souvenirs! Nostalgia

Thank you very much for your kind comments. It was rendered in less than 4 minutes on my quad.
Postprocess: colour contrast, highpass and glow. I would say no more than 5min. postprocess. -
Sid, the render does not look like a 1x render, and I believe some folks are beta testing version 2, so is this from the new version?
Ooops, you did mention it was 1.7.1, hmmm, must be a lot of PS?
-
Hey pete, there are some rumours that mac users will be the first podium v2 beta testers.

Sid, this render has a rear feel.

-
Pete it is 1.7.1 beta. Yes, there is some postprocess as I explained.
Cheers Michalis

wow, nice warm sunlight, beautiful wood. But there's never been a single pupil in this room... no scribbles on the desks, impossible!
