Problem with 2d component construction
-
Once it is built, I am unable to move the image of a 2d face me component (left image) when I move the face it is on (right image). Any help with this?

-
Are you moving the whole component or the face inside it (when editing)?
Edit the component (when it is still okay), right click the face > Texture > Position and hit Enter.
Try now. -
Gai, Thanks, Hmm... No way of moving the face, and texture at the same time? Guess if I am carefull it doesn't matter, especially since the cutout is by eye anyway

-
Group the component?
(component + an external little thing then group) -
Did you try to position the image?
-
Pilou, Could be wrong but I thought I tried to re-component it, though that did not seem to matter.
Gai, I was able to re-position the image after I moved the face, but not at the same time.
I think I can do it by making a blank workspace, inserting the old component, exploding it, then regrouping, and saving the new component. Next time I will position the image properly before cutting out the alpha.
Every time I do this, I forget some step, and mess up. Takes less time to cutout the alpha then to get the name, etc. right:-) Another reason pro is the way to go.
Thanks, all.
