Apparently Hendrix could play right handed guitars without re-stringing. Perhaps you're onto something. What are the specs on the computer though? All I see is some nice monitors and peripherals. So you went to windows? Are those Dell 24"? Did you get a good deal?
All my mice have looked symmetrical. What's the difference if you have a utility to reprogram? I am currently using a Razer Copperhead and Steermouse. I use a 30" Dell monitor and 17in PowerBook Pro (Intel).

if i could use a mouse as well as hendrix could play guitar, i's be happy!
the mouse i have is cool, if youre right handed, there are some buttons conveniently placed where your right thumb would be, i keep hitting them with my little finger, most annoying!
i've always had a combination of windows and mac, but i decided with my new one i could get more for my money with windows.
the current spec list is:
intel core i5,
4gb ram
two nvidia geforce GTS250 cards
and three 20" monitors (i got cheaper ones and saved a bundle)it was custom built by my friend, and all in (including peripherals) we're looking at about ยฃ1200.
it more than suits my needs at the moment, though i do hear you can overclock the i5's quite a bit which i may look into!pav

yeah it's ok, i've been running some render tests and it's crunching them quite well, for a clear indigo render of a clay model you're looking at about 2mins to acceptable.
would be good to really test it out at some point though, i'm working on a uni project at the moment,
i reckon it shall test the capabilities quite well, give it a week or so and i should be at render stage.pav

pulled this off of 3d warehouse as a little test.
it's about 1.5 mins ish.

didn't think that was too bad.
