      Recently, as part of my new job I've been moderating a blog called Hullness http://www.hullness.blogspot.com . The idea is to start a discussion about what is architecturally unique or iconic about Hull to inform future development in the city and to avoid "anywhere" generic building. Hull has a pretty unfair stereotype as a bit of a dump so the idea is to be positive, and the city does have some great buildings, white telephone boxes and the second longest single span suspension bridge in the world. See below.

      So I thought this could be a fun thread, what is unique about your city or hometown?

      Also, the game;
      I found out that there are 14 other places in the world called Hull so I looked at them all on Google maps, the maps are on the blog. So here is the challenge; find the other places that share the name of your home town and post your findings.
