The Director of Classic 80's movies such as "Breakfast Club" "Plains Trains and Automobiles" and all the Molly Ringwald Movies has passed Away. Very sad.

      As a memorial, Let's all together say. . .

....still one of my favourite films. "Anyone?.... anyone?.... Voodoo politics."

Only 59 years young, how sad.

          This song comes to mind:

          Don't you forget about me

What a bunch of great films Hughes made with the brat-pack that really are time capsules of the 80s. They are the classics of that generation.

Ah yes, John Hughes. The eighties was made richer because of him.

I remember Breakfast club, what a great movie for such a small budget, definitely an eighties culture movie that had a short but very potent shelf life.
Then there is National Lampoons Vacation, one of the funniest movies than and today.

Ferris Beuhler's day off was fantastic (great choice in Yello's "Oh Yeah" soundtrack) Then there was 'Home Alone' another great family movie.

Goodbye John and thanks for the great entertainment.
