          sean,
          really great stuff! congratulations.

a question about the scenery: is it a picture of the real site or was it built in some app?

                  Really nice stuff.
Do you use hdri, sun and sky, or a combination of both for your lighting?

That is interesting and would think you might need a render farm to render a scene that big.
I saw one here with some examples:

                          http://www.renderfarm.ru/

And my favorites are here found under villagio.renaissance new

Commercial renderfarms tend only to be used for rendering animations as the initial setup cost for processing a file is so high compared to the subsequent cost per GHz.

Quick and dirty? I'd hate to see the "clean" renderings you produce when you have more time.

Sean, thanks for the raw stuff. I learn so much from them. Let me ask you...when you bring your plants in during post pro, what tweaking do you do to them to get them to match the light conditions in the scene so well?

Flawless as usual....no matter how hard I look!
