      Hey,
First time I'm posting an image at this forum.

This is my latest work. With this College's Dining Hall model i wanted to keep the poly count to as low as possible while not loosing any of the detail. There are 300 seats in this hall, so i modeled two versions of the table and chair, one with high poly detailed structure, and the 2nd version low poly. So for the closer tables and chairs to camera i used the high-poly and farther Low-poly.

      Faces in model: 85,914
      Render: V-Ray fSU

      C&C are welcome.

Jenny, very nice render, bright and clean. Good thinking on the two different L.O.D's (level of details)

Very nice, Jenny. The scale of the seated figures looks off, though.

actually, it kind of seems like the tables are too tall? looking at the chairs.

either way, nice image... i like it.

Really sweet design and model, Jenny. Love the green/orange color scheme, lively and fun place to be, but I think the green is a little bit off the best hue...or maybe it's the tint? (I noticed the tables too?)

I wonder. Compare the tables and people to the door. Either the people are out of scale or both.

Regardless. Great model, colors and render. As a presentation, though it can use some more interest, or something to offset the repetition of the neat layout. You've certainly done that in the design. The ceiling gives a great counterpoint to rectilinear aspect of the space.

                  Nice render!
My only comment is that i find the floor too "interesting" i could imagine sg more homogeneous and neutral instead of these tiles...
                  But thats just me. 😄

Thanks for all the replies and the kind words.
The design is actually not mine, i did the modeling, rendering and post process.
The Doors is not standard hight, it's 250 cm.

                    Thanks tomsdesk,
I'm not sure that i understand what do you mean by "best hue"?
The colors were chosen by the designer.

                    Thanks Jason,
You're right, the gap between the table and the seat should be about 10 cm smaller than it is in the image.
