The building design is not mine nor is it new. I was only asked to come up with a new entry to the building. CC's welcome

If "New Entry", is the program, why a volumetric mass? How about a over-scaled recess symbolizing "Door Way". Btw, it's Sunday, late afternoon, and I am into my 4th beer:-)

Only 1 door? You sure it wouldn't get crowded? I obviously don't know about what was asked, and don't know how busy it would be, but it's just something that I was thinking when I saw it.
