Good work. If you correct the component axes for the legs and diagonal braces (component #3 in your model)you could get an accurate cut list for the model.

It's certainly not a requirement but it sure makes it easy to know how much lumber you need and how many and how long to cut the pieces.

Looks like a great table. From the picture it looks like it is inside will it be used there? What kind of wood did you use? Our backyard table is a year or two from needing replacing...

Hi Bert,
As far as I know there's only one way to change the component axes orientation. Right click on the component and choose Change Axes. Then click to set the origin. Click along the edge that you want to red axis to lie. Then click for the green axis. the blue takes care of itself.
Sometimes I find it useful to place a guideline to follow for one of the axes but usually there's an edge for the red axis. After setting that one the green is easy enough. For a little more on that take a look at this.

It will be used outside.
I needed some outside seating for my sisters 21st, so i made 8 of these.
its made from redwood,and ill probably just paint them.
