I like the grey areas where there is "no overall control". That sounds like my kind of place!
Chris
PS - oh yeah, yes, that is a resounding victory!
-
A resounding victory for some of the 27.6% of people who bothered to vote.
70.4% obviously couldn't give a toss one way or the other about their future.
Or have just completely given up on the system.Regards

I'm not sure that the Tories getting control can be called a victory, a change - not a victory.
-
I'm not familiar with your politics but must say that's a pathetic voting turnout, I guess that means 70% must just shut the F%ck up until next election as if they cannot be bothered to care enough to vote they certainly have no right to bitch about who was elected.

Talk about voter apathy. Its a wonder we can get out of bed in the morning.

Obviously anarchy is the only solution

But let's make it a kind of "controlled anarchy" and elect me as a controller.

We tend to have such pathetic voter turn-outs for local elections here inthe U.S., also. Then everyone complains about corrupt politicians. But what can you expect? Such low turn-out sends the message that most people don't care, so the politicians do what they want. About the only constituency they have to pander to are the elderly, as they seem to be the ones group who do regularly turn out to vote.
