Here is mine. I finally got my Indigo working, I think the flame could be better. My 3rd render.

[Displacement activities.. you gotta love em]

Here's a candle model I found on 3dwarehouse just now. Just added the flame and made the base shiny metal.
              Candlestick_lightup.jpg

The flame is animated in realtime but I can't upload the .mov file so I've put a 320x240 on Vimeo

                  Sure is.

The all new, all dancing v1.5 is hopefully out tomorrow too. ๐Ÿ˜
(Which is the version that has all this color/texture animation support)

Is there also objects animation included. I seem too recall seeing that as well. Sure it looks very promissing.

Don't rush, Adam, don't rush. Make it perfect instead ๐Ÿ˜‰
(Unfortunately I have no time to try it ATM and it would only be a teaser ๐Ÿ˜’ )

                        Majid,

Your wax material is really great, would you share your settings ? KT's Sss is not the most documented topic...

It's not that difficult, Eulgrand... ๐Ÿ˜‰

I suggest that you go ahead and download the Transluscent.mat.zip from the KT Forum...
Take the "Milk" or the "Plastic transluscent" and play around with the colors and material settings... ๐Ÿ˜‰

                            Frederik,

You can bet I already did that, but something in my brain still has not get connected, and I can hardly figure out how Absorption, Emittance, Scatter and Falloff interact with each other (what do they control, is there a unit of measure for each of these parameters ?). All I could do until now was like throwing dice ๐Ÿ˜†

                            Thanks for your kind attention.

Have you taken a look at page 35 in the Kerkythea Material Editor Guide for KT2007...??

Although it was originally made for KT2007, basics remain identical for KT2008 and the explanation Patrick have made is much more accurate than what I can do... ๐Ÿ˜‰

Here's my attempt. May add a different one later, I'm not entirely happy with how dark it is. Sketchup and Kerkythea with flames added in GIMP.

                                    Candles. Sketchup + Kerkytea
