your welcome bro.to understand further the workflow i would like to post here the original podium render before i load them to photomatix. I actually use my photomatix to create HDRI and i just thought why not use it using rendered image and see how. fair enough, i think its one way how to explore further this area with SU, rendered image and photomatix as post processing software.
here are my three raw podium output. btw im testing the beta(unrelease)of podium and testing blurry reflection
what i did is i reloaded the three images in photomatix by clicking create hdri. then the rest is up to you when you are adjusting the various sliders in Tone Mapping.

thanks gdb that you like them. -
it looks real!

Whoa!!! Nomer that Vray render rocks!!!
I kinda feel bad for Podium on this one.
Excellent render, and nice floor mat, can I enquire where you got it? as I am in need of some good wood and tile floor mats.

Not sure where Normer got his floor material from, but I can certainly recommend that you visit Arroway Textures...
They have a very nice range of wooden floor materials with diffuse-, bump- and reflectivity-maps... -
I have seen those, even downloaded some low rez ones, but yikes!! they are pricey.
-
You're welcome...
Perhaps you can then find some from CG Textures...
They don't come along with bump- and relection-maps, but you should be able to make these yourself from the diffuse-map image... -

Sorry mate, I do appreciate the reply .
Maybe I'm a little grouchy (sp) today, as yesterday I killed my main work rig, I believe it had something to do with static so I'm down to dual cores at moment and that really sucks in the rendering department, but faster with SU.

No need to apologize... I just couldn't resist teasing you a bit...
I'm sorry to hear about your quad system... Hopefully you'll find a new rig soon...?!

my apology. i just want to put the same model in one thread.
No need for an opology mate, I was just remarking that the vray render is so good that any render would look bland against it.

oh ok..

HYPERSHOT render
-
Very nice Nomer
Let us hope Bunkspeed will add a physical sky in a next version...
-
1.9 texture is absolutely amazing now. and i think hdri can now be moved along the y axis so the contol of the hdri light is easier.an it seems alot of plans are on the line which include caustics. bunkspeed's hypermove have its own physical lighting but i hope they just integrate it with hypershot. still struggling to output that i want in this soft. and i guess its still behind vray in architectural visualization. but with the enthusiasm in upgrading their soft who knows. those bunkspeed people work really hard.

oops Pete, i dont have the intention to compare the two here. my apology. i just want to put the same model in one thread. i am also doing one more podium stuff and hypershot. the floor is arroway i think, lookin on thoi kens model. i have told you my secret recipe pete, it is not about the diffuse map, but rather its the vray material. you know what i have told you about the subdivision of blurry reflection, this one instead of 8 i raised it to 32. -
dont want to create another thread.. here is the vray version
