Nice Luca

Nice work, Luca. I like the display style too. Did you make that style?
I'm curious about the dovetail on the end. It seems like it ought to be a mirror of the one on the other side of the bench.
-
Yes Dave, I did the style: 1 pixel straight line, 3pt extension and texture (beech and walnut). I show you a photo regarding the dovetail joints. As you can see the back board is thinner than the front one.
-
I just finished drawing the workbench and these are two photos. I hope you like it.
-
Very nice work there, my friend.
Is the drawer front on the right to be fixed in place or will it be hinged to open? I gather the hole in the side of the case is to provide clearance for the vise.
-
Thank you Dave! You're right about the hole, it's for the vise. The little drawer is actually a false one, so it's a piece of plywood laminated with walnut. The other two drawers and the frames of the doors are made of beech. The carcase is made of plywood jointed with biscuits.

Nice drawings. I like the style.
You could hinge that panel so it folds down and then use that space for storing things you'll never find again.
-
That's a good suggestion but I have the constraint to do the exact copy of the original. Anyway I'll report your idea.
-
I know you have to draw it as built.
Is it Giacomo who built it?
-
Yes, it's Giacomo who built it. This part is coming with the may issue.
-
That's great. Please pass on to him that I like his bench very much.
Ciao!
Dave
