Depending on how many models you have really, the one way is open them up one at a time and then save as SU6 in the drop window options.

I have the same issue in the office.
Often I get SU7-free models from co-workers which I can't open in my SU6 Pro.
That forced me to install the SU7 free version as well, even when I don't use it. -
does the sketchup Viewer work with both versions as well?

I guess you could:
1-Place all your SU7 files in a single folder
2-Load that folder as a component folder from within SU7, and start placing those components like crazy in your scene
3-Save the file with all your components as version 6
4-Make a new folder for your converted files
5-Open it with SU6, go to the "components" window, choose to see those "In model", and "save library as..." in the new folder.I guess this could save you some time. I say I guess because I have yet to test it.
EDIT: It works. Just make sure to do it in wireframe mode or your PC will slow down to a crawl if you have lots of files to convert. And I wish there was a "place all components" sort of command to save some time.

RayOchoa, I had exactly the same problem before SU7 came out.

Now that I use version 7, it's not a problem for me anymore..DeepExploration can save into any version of SketchUp (from v3 to v7), and you can use it's batch function to convert multiple files at a time. However, it messes up texture maping of textured SU models. It costs quite a bit too, but you can use trial version for a month without restrictions. It's good in every other way though.
