Render this......!!
-
Okay guys, I dropped the ball on this one recently as I have been too busy with my Garden collection.
Anyway as I was modeling stuff for gardens I decided to make a Gnome, but afterwards decided against including it.
I got an idea and hope it works out, I am sure it will as this community likes quirky stuff.
Below is a .skp of the 'solo gnome' I would like y'all to download it and in the theme of "Where the hell has my garden Gnome gone" I would like you to put it in your renders, it can be a garden render, a work project with a hidden gnome in image (not hidden behind a wall that we cannot see but hidden in a way that we need to search for it, or do anything with it that's really funny.
The model is basic, and yes there is a seam that's visible and intentional.

Nice idea... ...I'm on it....

Pete, at 105' that Gnome is scaring the crap out of me

-

I forgot to resize it, hey on the bright side you get to see the scale I model at before resizing.

That's cool andy, almost like a tropical Easter Island.

close encounter

second render using DOF in the program vs. photoshop post process, took a lot longer to come out, and can't really adjust the focus when you are done, but came out smoother

Sorry xrok1, they are property of our firm. Plus they were created to show elevation view only.
See attached.

hey andy, how did you do that jungle effect? photoshoping the foreground and background in from photos? or rendered plants?
-
Well they are gorgeous what did you render with in your first post?
-
Thanks.

this is so cool! A guy I know hid gnomes all around our suburb one time (on top of traffic lights, taped onto railway boom gates, as part of a scavanger hunt, we were meant to find them all, (the funniest was sitting in the lens of the giant camera on top of kirk's camera store!)
