fantastic Daniel, you too went through a lot of effort.
This thing is taking on a life of itself.

Thanks, Solo, for the compliment and the opportunity. I don't often get the chance to post something on here, and this was fun.
I was surprised how quick Vue rendered this - less than a minute, and on the highest setting. I did have a problem with scale, however - the trees were gargantuan compared to the SU model. I finally had to enlarge it by a factor of 20 - I don't recall ever having to do that before. -
Beautiful landscapes, Bjorn. I think I know the answer, but what program did you use?

Thanks, I seem to be having trouble get the hang of it.
It looks like it works now.
Not as good as the others but they may even sell gnomes there. Please excuse my empty post. I am code challenged.

I forgot to resize it, hey on the bright side you get to see the scale I model at before resizing.
Is that to avoid SU's problem with small units? I'm currently modelling a product in mm with alot of rounded edges, and I've ntoed that very small faces won't create some times. But if I scale up 100 times, then it creates fine. So I'm tempted to scale the whole lot up by 1000, so while it says meters, it's intended to be mm.
-
Thomthom, I normally scale up 10x in SU for that reason when doing models that require a level of accuracy. This was not the case, I just started creating and never used it in a scene sothat i'd need to scale before posting....just forgetfulness on my part.
