Manhattan
-
I have noticed that google earth created manhattan in 3D.. it s very reallistic and i would like to know if it s possible to tranfert it in sketchup pro? (i use it)
I did some researchs on "component sketchup" and i found some sketchup's files on manhattan realized by some "anonymous guys" but it s not the complete city...
I'm working on a project in architecture and i need to find the complete file (like in google earth) to put my project inside..
also for Hoboken city in the New jersey
Thx a lot guys for your answers and have a nice day !! -
I think it might be possible if your using google earth pro (400$ or so.) http://earth.google.com/enterprise/earth_pro.html

I don't think GE Pro allows you to access to the 3D data
-
oh yeah, i read 'explore featired Content' as 'export featured content'
-
Still tipsy after the BD party?
-
Nah. just plain stupidity this time.
-
Noooooooooooooooo...so no way to have it??
Nobody make it? -
I can imagine (however not sure about it) that the reason is that much of the 3D content is proprietary content.
-
I can pay if it s necessary ^^

A friend of mine has Google Earth Pro so do u think it's possible to have it? He doesnt find in the options how to do it..And I say again I can pay if someone has the file (I just need the West of Manhattan around the 14th street , Hudson River and the opposite : Hoboken city (New Jersey)
Thx guys -
AFAIK the 3D Layer cannot be downloaded with GE Pro either. And it's not subject of money in fact but Google's policy.

The models of manhattan were available on Google 3D warehouse, but now they have been erased from the website.
