OH!!...eh.eh...'Nice'

Damn! Why aren't I getting the sexy ones? The two banners, top and bottom, are entirely full of CAD and rendering ads at the moment. The nearest I get to the one Stu has seen is for 3D Window Models...are they the Amsterdam variety?
Edit: I think I just saw what Stu was referring to. The 4 small ads in the banner at the bottom were momentarily replaced with a single, large, all-singing, all-dancing one for cheap loans. I guess if we don't click them, they'll go away.
-
You came too late, Alan! We took all the ladies already
-
Coen, by smaller, I think Stu is refering to how the textual google ads seem far less obtrusive and give the impression they aren't as big. When you stop and compare they are as you say - the same actual size.
I'm in support of the ads if they'll help make the site more sustainable. I'd like to take this opportunity to give thanks to Coen and the SketchUcation team. What you provide us free-of-charge is spectacular.
Regards, Ross

This is what I mean.
And Cupids Melbourne isnt popping up at the moment [obviously I didnt click on it often enough ]
-
Coen, the banner adds seem to have gone now.......much better, in my opinion!
And hey!.....We can't get much more relevant than this one...can we
-
not completely fixed yet. I got an add a couple minutes ago for "bed wetting protection".
-
Maybe that was a personalised ad
I get some in Hungarian so Google may know something about the users!
-
Yes, there very clever with targeted advertising these days
-
They must be....they seemed to know you were looking for some hottie in Melbourne.
-
Ha!
I also got a (Hungarian) ad - "Sexy women and hot gals" (or something - third from the left).
Getting excitingIt's something about SMS (text) dating. I never knew there were succesful businesses like that!
-
I got one that said "Faster and Easier", (but unfortunately it was advertising Cinema 4d)
-
I'm going to add a sketchucation tag to my google ads so it'll come up
-
ENOUGH OF THE HUNGARY, ALREADY!!!
Gai, whatever you are doing...stop it.

while we are on the subject of ads and the look of the forum, I much prefer the old SU logo up there. **** IT feels more like us. I do however appreciate the use of the red "U". It is even in Coen's avatar
**This has to be no doubt in homage of my alam mater, the UNDEFEATED (thank you) **University of Utah UTES! GOING TO THE SUGAR BOWL TO KICK SOME ALABAMA BUTT!!!!****

...back on topic.
The problem IS slowly disappearing. Now most of my adds are like these ones:
