I know... wha? gold chain..silly... here's the idea... making a tshirt for my wife for xmas.. her nickname is BA and i thought it would be funny to recreate someting like this DC shirt (or the Big Black BB shirts)...

I was going to just try it in photoshop..but figured this woudl be more fun (and potentially quicker)

here is a quick first pass.. the geometry looks like hell where i softened the edges..have to clean that up... the chain is just thrown in there at the moment..

any idea how to get some more refraction in the diamonds? shine a spotlight on it? want to nest the letters together a little more, and add some diamonds to the a.. obviously, any ideas/comments anyone has to make it better...please help! haha..thanks

I had a laugh with this one Jason! Nice work. Got that Ill Philly Flair! Would you be getting the render screen printed? If you want to send me the file, I can run it through Hypershot with a Dosch Chrome studio HDRI and make the bling really pop.

off the chain...how did i not see that coming..haha..

i'm definiltey going to edit the chain a bit and make it longer and more curvy..

i was hoping to just use cafepress or something and get one digitally printed, but their print area is so small.. i found another place that has a pretty large print area, not to the shoulder..which woudl be ideal...but i think it will work.

adam.. let me finish up the model and i'll send it your way to see what you can do with it..i'm going to keep messing with it in maxwell, as well.. add an hdri or just some elements in the scene for the diamonds to pick up.....thanks.
