I'm an underdraduate student doing architectural design technology and production. I'm in my final year and doing my dissertation, i've opted to do a semi comparative analysis between autocad and sketchup looking in more depth at sketchup and looking at the ways in which Ruby scripting can be used to customise the program. The problem i'm having is finding articles to back up my research and help with the dissertation writing.

Any information on magazine articles, information or good book references would be much appreciated!

Please find attached a copy of my interim report.

      Thanks for your help,

                      Steve

I'm willing to help in any way I can, but I don't know of many articles or publications about customizing SketchUp via Ruby. I've done my share of scripting, but I just don't know of much written about what we rubyists are doing.

There are some discussions on the old SU ruby forum (and some here) that get into some technical issues, but I don't know if that will meet the criteria for the types of sources you need.

Feel free to contact me through Smustard if you have any specific questions. If I can, I'll be happy to help.
