Is this all photoshop or did you render that portion and composite?

sorry..neglected to mention that... i used photomatch to get the view (which, of course, doesnt export to maxwell.. but its a start) and rendered the two pieces in maxwell..and then added and adjusted the color in pshop.. simple.. took like an hour or two..

When i looked at the photographs first before I read the description (as I always do...)
I couldn't tell there were any difference b/t them.

Could you post the render only? I am trying to get my head around this one, it looks cool, but cannot see which is which.

Great stuff. Extremely hard to tell it is not ALL photo (which is amazing). For an hour or two you nailed it!

It's anice move Marked ; but if u added some of material like the actual wall be better by photoshop.

that would defintely be nice... but in reality, its going to end up being Drivit, I think.. so its a smooth stucco finish.

a fantabulous update...haha.. railing plus a stair down to a lower level cafe, or something.. nothing special, but pretty low fee on this..

Congrats on a great project, Jason. If you add some weathering to the new construction, I think it would blend in seamlessly.

Great use of modeling.
I wonder, is the switch to red on the sides of historical significance? I know of some buildings, locally ,that used the more expensive facing on the front facade and went to red brick on the sides, but that doesn't seem to be the case here. If not, why not carry the same facade material color back, in more classical style and not draw attention to the side transitions?

it'll come down to money... think this is already an expensive project.. so using limestone would be way too much, especially that high up..so ultimately, i think it'll be drivit.. i have nothing to do with the design though, just doing what i'm told..i certainly agree with you, that'd be nicest.

Jason, instead of using e.i.f.s., you might consider using metal. You'd get crisper detailing, and might even find a ready made system that would match that.
