1.Followme open Hidden Geometry
2.Connect the diagonal line
3.Delete others
4.copy
5.Offset
6.mirror
7.Move together. Joint push pull
8.Finish

Oh but you did! You used Offset On Surface and Joint Push Pull. Just not FFD.
