Hypershot loves shiny

I suppose I better make a new thread for hypershot instead of leeching off the other one.

A 5-minute render. I shudder to think what more complex models will look like.

Looks like a good solution for easy product design presentations. Thanks for sharing.

Here is a good review:

you’re looking at hyperShot Pro which is pretty much unlimited and costs $9,995.

Hypershot is nice for product renderings but it is not that suited for archviz.
The pricing strategy is kind of cuckoo to me.... -
The thing is though, there's cheaper packages, so you don't have to pay 10K.
There's the Web Version:
@unknownuser said:
• 800 by 450 realtime resolution
• Up to 360k pixels rendering resolution
• Windows
XP, Vista, 32/64 bit$195.00
And the HD Version:

• 1920 by 1080 realtime resolution
• 4.1 Megapixel rendering resolution
• Windows
XP, Vista 32/64 bit$995.00
I bought the HD Version, but that's instead of me buying a new bumper for my car.

I have played a little with this and it really is fast and easy to use, unfortunately I feel it's maybe too easy and kinda limitted.
on enquiring about the price I now call it the 'hypershock'.Anyway if i were to look at this product seriously i would wait for the next version and hope that it does a better job at archviz, after all that is what most of us here really need.

$10,000??? OMG

Think I'll stick with Podium thanks.
-
Where did the $10K pricetag come from? I was told $2500 for Pro. Funny how rumors spread.
-
EarthMover,
To be exact its $ 9,995 for a full version (if 5$ make a difference).
And its not a rumour, it is written on the web page and that is for
the full version. I dont think that any serious professional would
settle for a version other than full. -
I'm sure it may be written somewhere, but it's not true. Hypershot Pro v1.5 is retailing at $3495. The $2500 I was quoted was for the upgrade.
Here's some proof.

More proof.
