(REQ) IMPORTER / EXPORTER

Is it possible to create a importer for Sat files and/or step files. Sure would be nice to do that.. Maybe some of the Ruby wizzards could answer that

Im not sure about sat files, but one of our resident ruby masters had a look at doing one for step files and concluded it would be very complicated.
Perhaps if their was enough demand they could be swayed?

A .sat file importer/exporter would be very useful for those using mechanical design software.
