Some models I'm using in a game

This is one of the few pieces of work that I've done with Sketchup. I didn't render it, this is just a shot taken from Sketchup. It's a low poly treasure chest that I completely made and textured in Sketchup. It will be used in a game that I am creating. The side handle is not complete yet, but there will not be much detail on it anyway.
This is a book that I made to go along with the chest as a filler for the room. It's very simple and low poly. It was made and textured in Sketchup.
Once again a simple low poly model of a bear skin rug. It's a bit more than a plane with a texture, as the center of the rug has a slight raise to provide the "feel" that the player stepped on the rug. As the others, created and textured in Sketchup.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my work. I plan on getting around to higher poly models that are render quality, once I do I'll post the results.

These look great! I love the low poly objects with good textures! This is how we do 3D buildings for Google Earth...just like video game design where the textures can help tell more than half the story, and helps to keep the models light!

It's a fantasy MMORPG, but it's set in ancient times instead of dark ages. It's going to be based very lightly on Earth history around 500BC. However the Roman, Greek, Persian and Egyption empires will be in power. As such you will play one of the four races. The base game is very simple arena combat. You are a gladiator and fight in 3 levels of arenas. Once you complete your "quest" for freedom you will be able to move out into the full world. That part will be an expansion if the game goes over good.
I have some of the base models done for the Arena. I'll clean them up and post those to see what you;ll think.
