Placement of plug ins

I purchased Smustard's Subsmooth and have attempted to install it on my Mac. Their instructions and the instructions within Sketchup are contradictory. I may also have moved some part of the download to some other location by mistake.
There are references to HD/library/Application Support/Google SketchUp 6/SketchUp/Plugins in their instructions.
I'd have to back into SkecthUp to get the exact wording that I see as contradictory, but it said something about
placing the file under " content."Any ideas? I am not a programmer. my mac is run on OS X 10.4.11

Im not to sure on the specifics with macs, but if the plugin comes with mac specific instructions follow those.
