even if the style is recognisable my Blender's works are very different than my sketchup ones
I don't know which ones I prefer ..whan I use Blender i prefer the blender ones , when I use Sketchup I prefer the Sketchup ones

someone sent me a pm to tell me that my thread freezes his system ...does anybody gets the same problem here ??

no freezing, but that apple is real nice I would love to see you render it! Would you be able to explain maybe through pictures how you created the 'leaf' n top of the apple. I know how I would do it but would be incredibly time consuming just wondering how you achieved it?

well , first you draw a form that will be the half of the leaf (a rectangle on my example), then you draw lines on it
then you use the offset tool on all the faces
then you erase the lines you draw at first , and the faces created with the offset
you select it and make a mirror to have the complete leaf. Then you use the "radial bending by selection of plane and angle "
not very pretty on this example because there are not enough faces but you get the idea
and that's it !
it took me a day to do it

Aha! you it was your fault!!!
I could not do anything for a couple of minutes, and I thouht it could have been another page I was visiting or maybe another applications using too many resources.BTW, the images are still loading, so I haven't been able to look at all of them. Maybe I'll have to open one by one
and 5 minute later, still no luck. Images won't load, not even in a new window

Immense amount of embedded images from external (and reallyslow) image hosting services cause this. If you attached the images straight to the post, thumbnails would be created and they could load easier.
As for the "content" - superb as usual!

yeah but with tinypiv, for 2 months, i have to write a capcha for each image uploaded......for this work it means about 50 capcha ....

Why don't you use something like Picasa? It even has a desktop utility with which you can batch-upload whole galleries!

I love your workflow between SU and Zbrush and I'm gonna look in to this.

About the Offset : in normal way you can only choose a single face so some tiedous
Use the multiple face offset by RemusAbout the cut Frame there is the automatic Latticizer by TIG
See this post for some "Vitraux"
or this very interesting one(some tuts inside)About the divide surfaces, the new plug Vertex tools by Thomthom insert a vertex on a face in a second!
etc...So take a day for make a little divided leaf is some time losted for creation! I make the same in 30 seconds
