Disaster! you obviously need to spend more time eating ice cream and chillaxing.
nah, i just go and down 15 pints of guinness, that usually sorts me out.

Does the model can be exported in another format than Spore?
-
I doubt it. Its part pf the game, so i think its unlikely they'll be giving away the meshes, even if you create them.
Theres always the possibility of someone hacking it though.

Very cool, my kids are now impatient to get their grubby paws on the full version.
Now to figure out how to get them into SU.....

You can exchange creatures between copies of the game (it seems the info is contained in png files) but I don't know how you'd access the actual mesh.

There is always a solution when you look hard enough.

by the way: guinnes is a very good choice. the last two times I drank cider, I vomited forcefully.
that doesn't happen that easily with guinnes, because it is so rich in content
(you don't need dinner anymore - two guinnes = one steak).but back to spore: can you advance to a civilisation that is capable of brewing beer? if yes, I should have a closer look to this game...

If Spore utilises OpenGL or DirectX then the best way to export a creature would be using 3DVia Printscreen. It supposedly will just grab all visible geometry from a window using either of those displays. http://www.3dvia.com/software/printscreen
It's free too. There is a whole stack of game models in their gallery.Nothing is safe anymore. That's why FF definitely won't be using any kind of plugin to allow people to view models interactively...except the SU Web Exporter, of course, which just relies on an image sequence.

Damned you must have a graphic card up than an ATI 9200
and support Shaders 2
So not for me

Had a better look at this software and I believe it would be very easy to bundle a library of shapes that one can modify with SU and create ones own creatures in SU. With all our new tools we can even map the UV's perfectly giving more texture options.
...hmmm... would there be a market for such a thing?
