So, I'm walking to the Seville to watch a presentation. I'm late and there aren't too many people in hall. But I pass this lady walking towards me in the hall and say Hi. I see she wants to chat so I stop to chat. We talk a little about Ruby and she says she works for CBS when I asked. I wasn't sure if I heard CVS or CBS and we keep chatting. Then, she mentioned something about set design, and I finally clue in that she said she is with CBS, as in CBS Broadcasting - New York!
I asked if there was a place where I could see her work. She says, sure - cbssports.com. Ok, wow! I asked if I could see SketchUp models there and she said no, but she had some on her portfolio. (She uses SketchUp for concept images, and those on her site (below) are still done with 3ds max)
She is Ann Cudworth and her portfolio is http://www.vsets.net. There is easy-listening background music after you enter her site. It goes really well with her site design. I was enjoying the images and navigation, and then I went to Credits. Holy cow!! 2 Emmys! Ann is a busy person! Great work Ann!

Cool...
Great to see SU used this way... And a very nice site indeed...
(just saw it's made using Swish Max... )Back at the old SU Forum, there was this other guy who also used SU for making virtual sets prior to actually building them... Can't recall his name, but it was pretty impressive and fun to see...
And if I remember correct, a lot of the scenes and camera paths in 24 are made in SU prior to real takings...
