went on a walk with my dad, ussualy he goes alone so this was kind of special for him. helped to make him breakfeast too.

My dad has been gone since I was born..So I got to spend the day with my son AND his son.....So cool!

My daughter gave me a beginners book on raising chickens, I totally didnt expect that and she had to work hard to find it.
For my dad, he is out of town till Tuesday, I will make his favorite old fashioned Hershey's Fudge. He just cant get enough of it, its so sweet and rich, he says it makes his false teeth hurt, but he loves it. I make it about 3 times a year for him.

Is that something uniquely antipodean? It's usually the Commonwealth vs the US when it comes to non-synchronised "greetings card purchasing opportunities". It was Fathers Day here in the UK too. I got whisky.

Well I had a nice time. We had a great breakfast, my daughter and I played racquetball then went swimming. Then I got to watch some of the US Open golf tournament. Then we had a steak dinner and I got to watch the "conclusion" of the Open. Today is the playoff.
Friday my brother and I took my dad out to see "The Happening". We walked to a restaurant, ate dinner then went back and saw "Iron Man". 3rd time seeing "Iron Man" for me. As for "The Happening"... not so happening. M. Night has done much better IMO.

I get my Father's Day Gift tomorrow. My daugter comes home from Italy! She has been in Sicily for 18 months serving as an LDS Missionary. I am so excited. My son leaves for Russia in 2 weeks as well to serve for 2 years. Happy Father's Day to ME!!!!
