Can you tell the forum something about the project? For example, are you designing for a client?
The layout of the living space is interesting (very open and friendly), but occasionally people like privacy so a recessed curtain to screen the bed from the kitchen might be nice.
There would appear to be a large, unused volume under the platform bedroom/bed. Could that be used for storage? The stairs could also be used for storage by constructing the stairs so under each tread there is a pull-out draw (like a large, staggered chest of draws).
Designers always forget about storage, which is very important when planning compact accommodation.

A few comments on the second image:
Your stringer is following both the treads and the risers as it goes up the wall, until you get to the top riser. For consistency, I would think you'd want to run it up that riser and tie it into the base board in the bedroom.
Judging by the stools, the counter doubles as an eating surfaces, bujt it doesn't appear the counter projects out in that area, which means someone sitting on the stools would have to lean too far forward.
Finally, you should add at least a wall-mounted handrail to those stairs, for safety's sake (even if your local codes don't dictate it). In the US I am unaware of any code that wouldn't require both a handrail and a guardrail. -
