Would like to share housing for 3D Basecamp

Hi Folks,
I'm new to the Forum and a bit new to SketchUp as I'm an urban planner, but a wannabe urban designer. Late last year I registered PlanGreen (http://www.plangreen.net) as a Woman Business Enterprise in Oregon. As a member of the Congress for New Urbanism, I thought I could find housing amongst our members, but that has not worked out. As a struggling small business in this economy, I am trying to keep costs down.My preference would be to find someone on the list (going to Basecamp or not) who lives near Mountain View who could offer me a floor to sleep on (I can bring camping gear if needed). I'm a considerate guest--quiet, respectful, self-reliant, non-smoking, non-snoring--and from the looks of things, I'd rarely be there.
My next choice would be to share the cost of a hotel/motel room with someone registered for Basecamp. I am in outings groups where I have shared lodging with males with no problems, but for propriety's sake (and perhaps a quiet night's sleep), I prefer female. Would anyone like to save on their own hotel bill?
