The first time I used KT, I had one of these issues too. You have to double click on the textures.

and when you edit them, you have to click "apply", not just exit the window.

an easy way to see when a textures is applied/change, is to go to View> Adjust> solid renderings. Your screen will show the model as textured, instead of wireframe.

Oh, question frederik: will any future versions of KT allow animated GIF exports?

        The short answer is no...
Besides, I don't see any reason for having such an ability, since you can - just like I explained above - take all the rendered images and convert them into an animated GIF, Flash or whatever format you prefer... 😉

        Cheers

I know, but I can't seem to find anything like that for mac. I'll probably find one in a few days though.

The renderings are getting better and better to although they could improve, you could try to use MLT, but really...
Keep it up! Maybe you could get into car design one time :]

Thanks for all your feedback. By the way what do you mean by "cheap look"? Oh and don't worry this is just a practice once again with proportions and using diffrent tools. THats all.

Maybe its the color and the fact it looks kinda "Plasticy" (no it isnt a word) in the render.

That latest model is looking great Ray; your designs are always great.
I especially like the way you accentuate the fact that the engine is in the middle by giving your cars a robust rear and adding massive vents and scoops.

I still haven’t played with the sub-divide and smooth etc, can't get the hang of them.

I hope to see you around my WIP's topic some time.
