Memory Stick
-
just an hour playing around to see how much detail i could model.

I stopped before i got to the little string thing on the end and the bite marks in the lid (no idea where they came from
)Materials and render tommorow.

Nice one
Trying to make mine too. I'll post it here when ready. -
Should have beveled those edges

-
Yup.
Looks good, though. Seems you're quite liking Indigo. (And you should.
) -
i was fascinated with your drawing and could not resist the urge to do mine! my memory stick has got a funny shape? next I'll
render it

-
nice, i look forward to the render, and dont forget to bevel any edges

-
Remus,
That looks awesome, how did you do the studio lighting in Indigo?
I've been trying it out with little success. -
heres a pic of my studio setup:

The red material is about 40W, luminous efficacy 50 and temp 6000.
-
thank you for the tips remus, i'll have to see if i can replicate that setup.
-
I did one last year for an animation trick in Podium.

OT: was looking through my online gallery and realized I have almost 1500 images

-
Seems we've got a good little collection of memory sticks going here

Dolphus, looking at the finished thing it doesnt seem as if your model needs any beveling, unlike mine.
-
here's mine. . .
Note. . I drew mine from memory yesterday and it appears on closer inspection that it looks more like this. . ..More "Bevel-y"
%(#FF0080)[p.s. I'd put the graphic text on it, but Its against my policy to do commercial endorsements. . .and um . . um . . . I don't know how to do it anyway
jk]
-
there are no bevels in mine it is strictly wysiwyg
