Okay. I know nada about Photoshop. (I did however learn how to add DOF using a depth map. Yay!) So this'll sound, erm, dumb. ๐Ÿ˜ณ

I'd like to make a totally white hdr, say starting from an existing one. Does anyone care to explain how I go about that?

Hmm. I got Picturenaut somewhere. I'll take a look into it tonight. Thanks for the suggestion.

Choose to create a new photoshop document.

Choose greyscale color and 32 bit depth.

          Fill the canvas with white.

Save as a radiance file (hdr).

I have also gotten excellent results by using the following sequence:

Once you have the new file open, hit "D" so that black and white are your two available colors.

Now run the cloud filter (under the "render" tab)

          Save this as a hdr.

I think that the cloud version gives a very nice light quality when rendering, YMMV.

          Cheers, Chuck

Good luck, and no thanks necessary. ๐Ÿ‘
