      Hi Folks,
a "free style" console I designed sometimes ago. I decided to finish it. Here the result.
No dimensions mentionned but all are in mm.

        Beautiful work Jean-Franco!
I have one question. See the picture:

If you don't know where you're going, you're never going to get there.

          Hi, Gidon,
Your'e totally right that's what I'll probably do. But This is a kind of exercise for me. πŸ˜„
Generally I try to use very few screws in my furnitures. But with SUp it's so easy to draw every thing you know... 🀣
I agree with you more is not the best here. So no problem at all you can modify the piece πŸ˜„

            Hi Folks,

Jean-Franco, that is one beautiful design. And don't let Gidon scare you. Tenons are like clamps, you can never have enough of them. ;<)

If you use the e-ray view on the center drawer it appears there is a different texture there. It almost looks like a white oak ray pattern. Is there something there that is different than the rest?

Jean, I enjoyed exploring that great piece of furniture.

              Thanks,

Nice work Jean. I like the attention to detail regarding texturing... the end grain on the hidden surfaces. Nice touch.

How do you plan on attaching the lower shelf?

Hi All and thanks for your comments,
Eric, for the lower shelf I'll simply use four 8mm size dowels.
I'll put them in place when assembling the front with the rear frame.
                  They are effectively not mentionned.
For texturing, yes I try to addjust the size and orientation as fine as I can to get a better look and feel.
Unfortunately I'm not able to make renderings as you do. One day maybe ?
I'm preparing a small side table on which I'll try to make a kind of veneering or sort of.

                  Jean-Franco
